Sweeney splashes the cash after becoming one of film and TV's biggest names
The news, as per TMZ, means the 26-year-old actress will be expanding her real estate portfolio, as she keeps the Los Angeles home she currently owns.
Whilst valued at $20m, she could end up paying more for the new home.
It's a 7000 square-foot crib that contains an infinity pool, chef's kitchen, wine room, aquarium and excellent views of the Caribbean Sea meaning that it's the perfect place for her to welcome guests for those summer parties on the Eastern Seaboard over the next few months.
It comes one year after an emotional interview during which she said she can't afford to stop acting since she independently supports herself.
"If I wanted to take a six-month break, I don't have income to cover that," Sweeney told The Hollywood Reporter in 2023.
"I don't have someone supporting me, I don't have anyone I can turn to, to pay my bills or call for help.
"They don't pay actors like they used to, and with streamers, you no longer get residuals.
The established stars still get paid, but I have to give five percent to my lawyer, 10 percent to my agents, 3 percent or something like that to my business manager. I have to pay my publicist every month, and that's more than my mortgage."
